M. Camille Almond, MD
M. Camille Almond, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist. Dr. Almond earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She moved to Seattle, Washington where she completed her medical internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center and her ophthalmology residency at University of Washington Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Cornea and Ocular Surface Disease at the University of Minnesota, where she gained experience in medical and surgical management of complex anterior segment disease processes.
Dr. Almond is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Cornea Society. She has a special interest in corneal disease processes and surgical management of corneal and ocular surface disorders.
